This year’s paintings have been a continuation of my past exploration of colors and nature. The leaf-gesture has accompanied me for the past year, finding it’s way into almost all my drawings and paintings. Oil and crayon on canvas.

Paintings (2018)
This painting was made after an intense confrontation with art history and the journey it took to get where we are now. The title suggests that we are in constant oscillation between male/female, old/new, beautiful and ugly. Oil and crayons on canvas
Paintings (2017)
These paintings seem to slowly drift from summer into autumn just like the season when they were painted. I spent a summer painting in a ceramics factory in Burgenland. The foundation of the paintings is made of natural soils, the paint on top is oil color.

Paintings (2015)
The paintings I made in this year are influenced by nature and especially by the vineyards where they were painted. I was interested in the brilliant colors that you can find in nature and the slow dissolution into the mind. Oil on canvas
