This year’s paintings have been a continuation of my past exploration of colors and nature. The leaf-gesture has accompanied me for the past year, finding it’s way into almost all my drawings and paintings.

These paintings seem to slowly drift from summer into autumn just like the season when they were painted. I spent a summer painting in a ceramics factory in Burgenland. The foundation of the paintings is made of natural soils, the paint on top is oil color.
